Lighting of the Lawn is Still On
There have been multiple inquiries about the fate of the annual Lighting of the Lawn event, given tonight’s ominous weather forecast. We have been assured by Leslie Alpert, the student coordinator, that the show will go on:
While rain would be less than ideal, the Lighting of the Lawn event WILL go on as scheduled. We just recommend that people come dressed for the event (and ready to have a great time!) In the event of inclement weather, there will be mats placed in the pavilions so visitors don’t track in mud, but other than that, it’s really up to the individual to prepare for the weather. We’re crossing our fingers that it doesn’t rain but we are definitely excited for the event in either case!
