… And a Fashionable Time Was Had by All

From UVA Today correspondent Marian Anderfuren:
U.Va. students were the models when a crew from Glamour magazine came to Grounds last weekend for their fall fashion shoot.
Why U.Va.? Melissa Martin, the editor of the project, said her father-in-law is an alum, and he highly recommended the beauty of the Grounds.
They were not disappointed. Photographer Benny Horne noted that just about every time he turned around, there was another beautiful backdrop.
About a dozen students made their fashion debuts, including Christian Paxton, a second-year English major from Lynchburg. “I was just drawn to the scene. It’s fun,” the first-time model said.
The magazine will be out in September. Expect a run on them at the U.Va. Bookstore, which served as headquarters for the Glamour crew.
